After many years of dedicated service, Dr. Robert Rideau has retired and closed Park Place Dental. Learn about San Mateo Dental Care
At San Mateo Dental Care, Dr. Taw and Dr. Tran bring advanced dental expertise and a personal touch to every patient’s experience. Dr. Taw, a Bay Area native, attended UC Santa Cruz for his undergraduate studies before earning his dental degree at Midwestern University in Arizona, where he met his wife, Dr. Phuong Tran. Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Dr. Tran completed her undergraduate studies at the University of Utah. After beginning their careers and welcoming their daughter Alyson while living in Oklahoma, they decided it was time to return to the Bay Area to be closer to family and the community they love.
Outside the office, they embrace all that California has to offer, from its stunning beaches to its vibrant culinary scene. They enjoy traveling, cooking, trying new foods, and exploring the great outdoors. Weekends often find them hiking or relaxing at the beach with their two energetic border collies, Remy and Emile. Dr. Taw and Dr. Tran are dedicated to creating a welcoming, family-oriented environment where exceptional dental care meets a passion for building lasting patient relationships.
